Section 5 GPLv3 is titeld “Conveying Modified Source Versions.” What is ment with “conveying” and “modififying” ist defined in section 1 “definitions“. “sorce code” is definde in section 1 “source code”.
Section 5 GPLv3 also defines:
“aggregate”
In the following way:
5. Conveying Modified Source Versions.
You may convey a work based on the Program, or the modifications to produce it from the Program, in the form of source code under the terms of section 4, provided that you also meet all of these conditions:
